Shankweiler's Drive-In, established in 1934, is the oldest operating drive-in theater in the world. For over 90 years, it has delighted audiences with double features on its large outdoor screen.
Located in the Lehigh Valley, Orefield, Pennsylvania, just off Route 309.
Happy National Popcorn Day! It's no secret that Shank's popcorn is legendary for its crisp, crunchy, and perfectly salted goodness. We've decided to celebrate this special day all week long by offering a unique chance to take home a giant bag of our famous popcorn!

Orders can be placed through our WEB STORE (under the “STORE” tab). Orders can be picked up at the theater on Saturday, 1/24 between 6:00pm & 8:45pm. Orders must be placed by Friday at 6:00pm to be available for pickup.

Put on your Sunday best for this new Jan-uary event, “Sure, Jan.” The 70s and the 90s collide in this chaotic critique of the American sitcom family as satirized through the lens of a time period that's nostalgic in its own right. Get ready to laugh, cry, and dance! It's a very Brady double feature, and it's happening right here at Shankweiler's! Far out!

Markipliers's IRON LUNG comes to Shankweiler's Drive-In! The Emmy nominated Youtube star brings his first theatrical release to our massive outdoor screen under stars in a legendary and unprecedented world premiere. Iron Lung is based on the cult hit videogame of the same name.
About Iron Lung: In a post-apocalyptic future after "The Quiet Rapture" event, a convict explores a blood ocean on a desolate moon using a submarine called the "Iron Lung" to search for missing stars/planets.

Date Night at the Drive-In returns February 13-15. Drive-Ins have long been a timeless setting for couples looking something a little more special than the usual night out at the movies. We invite you to one of the region’s most beloved spots for an effortlessly enchanting evening. There’s nothing quite like snuggling close to a loved one under the stars, and we are proud to keep this tradition alive with the drive-in premiere of the highly anticipated romance film “WUTHERING HEIGHTS.”
We are also introducing our Date Night Snack Deal, which combines one jumbo popcorn, two medium drinks, & two candies for just $14.00!
On Saturday, Valentine’s Day, we are offering a preorder pickup of exquisite, gourmet Cheese Boxes for two, carefully assembled by our friends at the Aging Moon cheese shop in Bethlehem.
The Details: Tickets are available now through our website. The Date Night Snack Deal is available every night and can be purchased online or at the box office. The Aging Moon Cheese Boxes are preorder only (for 2/14 pickup) and available through our online ticketing page. Preorders for the cheese boxes will close several days ahead of the event, so place them now!
