Shankweiler's Drive-In, established in 1934, is the oldest operating drive-in theater in the world. For over 90 years, it has delighted audiences with double features on its large outdoor screen.
Located in the Lehigh Valley, Orefield, Pennsylvania, just off Route 309.

On Saturday, December 20, Shankweiler’s Drive-In proudly presents a rare theatrical engagement. We will showcase two beloved Rankin/Bass classics back to back in a spectacular drive-in matinee event. Join us for RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER (1964) and SANTA CLAUS IS COMIN’ TO TOWN (1970). Both productions will be presented together with a short five-minute break in between. Experience these two iconic seasonal essentials masterfully projected onto one of the largest movie screens in the area. This is an unforgettable and historic holiday experience you won't find anywhere else!

On Sunday, December 21, we conclude our Holiday Matinee series with a very special drive-in presentation of local acting legend, Daniel Roebuck, in his modern classic, SAINT NICK OF BETHLEHEM! This is a very special holiday feature that was shot and produced right here in the Lehigh Valley, and highlights our incredible community!

Markipliers's IRON LUNG comes to Shankweiler's Drive-In! The Emmy nominated Youtube star brings his first theatrical release to our massive outdoor screen under stars in a legendary and unprecedented world premiere. Iron Lung is based on the cult hit videogame of the same name.
About Iron Lung: In a post-apocalyptic future after "The Quiet Rapture" event, a convict explores a blood ocean on a desolate moon using a submarine called the "Iron Lung" to search for missing stars/planets.
