Shankweiler's Drive-In, established in 1934, is the oldest operating drive-in theater in the world. For over 90 years, it has delighted audiences with double features on its large outdoor screen. Shankweiler’s was recently awarded BEST DRIVE-IN THEATER in the 2026 USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.
Our drive-in theater is located in the Lehigh Valley, Orefield, Pennsylvania, just off Route 309.

Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and the whole gang reunite on our giant drive-in screen for a 21st Century showdown of toys vs. tech! This premiere will be presented as a double feature. Our cofeature will be STAR WARS: THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU!

Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and the whole gang reunite on our giant drive-in screen for the ultimate 21st century showdown of toys vs. tech! After intermission, we bring back a beloved springtime release, THE SUPER MARIO GALAXY MOVIE!

The SUMMER SOLSTICE MYSTIC MARKET returns to Shankweiler's Drive-In Theatre! On Saturday, June 27, you're invited to join us for a celebration of the summer solstice on the drive-in lot from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Explore a carefully curated selection of celestial, magical, and enchanting items crafted by local artisans and vendors.
This event is free to attend, and our snack bar will be open with a complete menu of tasty snacks and meal options. Come have brunch/lunch and browse the curious and creative wares at the Mystic Market!
