Shankweiler's Drive-In, established in 1934, is the oldest operating drive-in theater in the world. For over 90 years, it has delighted audiences with double features on its large outdoor screen. Shankweiler’s was recently awarded BEST DRIVE-IN THEATER in the 2026 USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.
Our drive-in theater is located in the Lehigh Valley, Orefield, Pennsylvania, just off Route 309.

The premiere you all have been asking us about is finally here! The world's most famous web-slinger swings onto our screen for the drive-in world premiere of SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY! After intermission, we step into the unsettling world of BACKROOMS for a special encore screening event!

We are hosting a free movie night for North Whitehall Township Residents, but you must preregister! We will be playing 2012’s THE LORAX! Non-residents may still purchase general admission tickets here.
