Shankweiler's Drive-In, established in 1934, is the oldest operating drive-in theater in the world. For over 90 years, it has delighted audiences with double features on its large outdoor screen. Shankweiler’s was recently awarded BEST DRIVE-IN THEATER in the 2026 USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.
Our drive-in theater is located in the Lehigh Valley, Orefield, Pennsylvania, just off Route 309.

Tuesday, July 28
On Tuesday, July 28, we team up with our friends at Equi-Librium, to bring a special one-night-only screening of Dreamwork's SPIRIT: STALLION OF THE CIMARRON.
Equi-Librium is a nonprofit farm in Nazareth PA providing unique and accessible equine-assisted services to individuals of all ages with physical, developmental, and behavioral challenges, as well as those who have experienced trauma. Over 100 participants join them each week for programs including adaptive riding and horsemanship, therapeutic carriage driving, equine-assisted learning, hippotherapy, and more.
