Shankweiler's Drive-In, established in 1934, is the oldest operating drive-in theater in the world. For over 90 years, it has delighted audiences with double features on its large outdoor screen. Shankweiler’s was recently awarded BEST DRIVE-IN THEATER in the 2026 USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.
Our drive-in theater is located in the Lehigh Valley, Orefield, Pennsylvania, just off Route 309.

Starting Thursday, 8/20, Shankweiler's Drive-In presents the drive-in premiere of INSIDIOUS: OUT OF THE FURTHER. This all-new chilling installment of the Insidious saga brings the other-worldly scares into our dimension. After intermission, we swing back to NYC and the MCU with encore screenings of SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY!

By request, Shankweiler's Drive-In Theatre is introducing its first Vintage Bazaar on Saturday, August 29, from 10AM to 3PM. This is a new daytime vendor event that features vintage clothing, retro accessories, vintage or antique home goods, media, and more!
We are currently accepting vendor applications for consideration. You can also access it through our official website or our social media pages. Please note that we will NEVER ask you to send payment by venmo, paypal, zelle, etc.
