Shankweiler's Drive-In, established in 1934, is the oldest operating drive-in theater in the world. For over 90 years, it has delighted audiences with double features on its large outdoor screen. Shankweiler’s was recently awarded BEST DRIVE-IN THEATER in the 2026 USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.
Our drive-in theater is located in the Lehigh Valley, Orefield, Pennsylvania, just off Route 309.

Tuesday, July 28
On Tuesday, July 28, we team up with our friends at Equi-Librium, to bring a special one-night-only screening of Dreamwork's SPIRIT: STALLION OF THE CIMARRON.
Equi-Librium is a nonprofit farm in Nazareth PA providing unique and accessible equine-assisted services to individuals of all ages with physical, developmental, and behavioral challenges, as well as those who have experienced trauma. Over 100 participants join them each week for programs including adaptive riding and horsemanship, therapeutic carriage driving, equine-assisted learning, hippotherapy, and more.

Our spidey senses are tingling! It's almost time for the drive-in premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day! See Spider-Man swing onto our giant drive-in screen for another epic adventure under the stars! This premiere will be presented as a double feature, and our second movie will be announced soon. In the meantime, tickets are on sale!
