Shankweiler's Drive-In first lit up the night sky in 1934 and has been entertaining moviegoers with double features on its massive outdoor screen for over 90 years. It is the second drive-in theater ever constructed, and the oldest operating drive-in theater in the America and the world!
Shankweiler’s is located in Orefield, Pennsylvania, just off of Route 309.

Our October programming has built up to this! It’s the ultimate double feature of modern thrills! We proudly introduce two brand-new but undoubtedly legendary editions to the horror genre, presented back-to-back on our giant screen under the stars!
First, we open with the cronenbergesque dark comedy that's made waves across TikTok, THE SUBSTANCE. Then, we follow up with the intense indie slasher that's taken the box office by storm in this game-changing win for horror enthusiasts, TERRIFIER 3!

We've just confirmed our features for VANADU DRIVE-IN! We will be showcasing a 70s CB radio inspired double-header of SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT with CONVOY! Gather your rigs and your pals for this premiere drive-in van cruise event on Saturday, November 2!
Vanadu is an invitation for classic van owners and enthusiasts to bring their rigs out to America's oldest drive-in for a night under the stars. Come show off your rig and mingle with fellow vanners in this newly annual overnight event!
Gates open at 4:00pm for Vans and 5:30pm for Non-Vans.
